CORRUGATED CARDBOARD |

Cut into 30"X30" pieces, tied in bundles no more than 8" thick. One bundle per week per household. |
NO cereal boxes, waxy coated boxes, pizza boxes. NO staples or tape. |

WHITE GOODS (Any Color) |
Appliances, refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, other white goods. |
Call 376-5651 for pickup dates. $15.00 for first item, $10.00 fee for each additional item. Fees are payable in advance of pickup. |
All white goods shall be placed at curbside the night before collection. All refrigerator and freezer doors shall be removed before placing at curbside. |
NOTE:
Glass, plastic and cans may be placed in one container. Contractor will separate at curb. DO NOT PLACE RECYCLABLES IN PLASTIC OR PAPER BAGS, CARDBOARD BOXES OR IN GARBAGE CANS. Pickup is same day as regular refuse collection. Have refuse and RECYCLABLES at curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day.
STICKER POLICY: A distinctive SDS of Olean sticker must be attached to each 15 or 30 gallon refuse bag or affixed to the top bag or wrapper in each can and be visible upon removing lid.
Sticker price for each 30 gallon sticker is $2.29. Price for each 15 gallon sticker is $1.12.
Stickers are available at many local grocery and convenience stores as well as in the City Clerk's Office in the Municipal Bldg. No refuse will be collected without the proper sticker affixed. RECYCLABLES will not be collected if there is no refuse set out for collection. There is no charge for the collection of RECYCLABLES For further information call SDS of Olean at 372-6905 or the City of Olean at 376-5651.

YARD WASTE The City of Olean ONLY collects yard waste on the last Wednesday in May and September. |
Brush, grass clippings, leaves, small branches (less than 3 inches in diameter), twigs. |
Grass clippings, leaves and twigs MUST be in clear plastic trash bags. Brush and small branches MUST be cut into lengths no longer than 3 feet. Brush and small branches shall be tied in bundles 18" or less in diameter. Only two bags and/or bundles will be collected free of charge in May and September. |
NO branches in excess of 3 inches in diameter.GRASS CLIPPINGS AND LEAVES WILL NOT BE COLLECTED IF NOT IN CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS. |
