Two regulation baseball fields (#2 & #10), 1 with lights; 3
regulation softball fields (#1, #8, #9), 1 with lights; 3 regulation
youth fields (#5 & #7). Field #6 owned by Olean Little League Inc.
with concession stand. Two farm league fields (#3 & #4). 2 T-ball
fields. Bleachers and dugouts at some fields. Football field with
lights (#1 & #2) used by Midget Football with concession stand. Pond
for fishing. Restrooms and 2 playground areas with paved parking for
225 vehicles. Picnic table and grills throughout park. Park
staffed during summer with recreation programs for youth.
Rental fee:
Pavilion 1 (with electric) $30 plus $20 cleanup $50

FRANCHOT PARK
 Located
on Franchot Blvd., off South Union Street. 9.52 acres. Bathhouse and
wading pool (capacity 529) for children. No charge for admission.
Tennis playback wall, basketball court with night lighting, baseball
field, dugouts, bleachers, 2 small t-ball softball fields,
shuffleboard, volleyball, bocce courts, fitness trail, and ¾ mile
jogging trail. Site of the Johnny Appleseed Lane and gazebo.
Playground structure (handicapped accessible) and horseshoe pits
with night lighting.
Two pavilions available for rental:
Small pavilion $35.00 plus $20 cleanup (holds about 50 people,
1 electrical outlet)
Large pavilion $65.00 plus $20 cleanup (holds about 100
people, several electrical outlets)

Gazebo $10.00 (take garbage with them)
Extra charge for restrooms when bathhouse not open $15.00 per hour.

Located on Franklin Avenue. 3.00 acres. Dexter/Hysol Division
owns this property and is leased to the City of Olean. Haggerty
softball field used for women’s play. Par 3 golf hole and playground
equipment. Staffed in summer with recreation programs for
youth.

GARGOYLE PARK
 Located
at 101 Gargoyle Road, off West State Street, in the Town of
Allegany. 48.70 acres. Open during the summer months for rental for
clambakes, festivals, company picnics, and other events that draw
large crowds. Large enclosed pavilion (capacity 765) with gas
stoves, hot plates, stage, and several outdoor concession stands.
Clam Stand - 220 electric, Building -110 electric. Playground area
located at front of park that is open to the public.
Rental fees:
Park Rental
$275 per day plus $175 cleanup fee

Group has 30 garbage cans to fill. If exceed – group

Located on River Street, off N. Union Street Extension (gain
access by Elm Street Alley). 5.80 acres. Softball field, no
playground equipment. Playground equipment available at Filtration
Plant located close-by. Formerly called Forness Field. Staffed
during summer months with recreation programs for youth.

at the corner of King and Seneca Streets. 297’ by 370’. Playground
area and 2 youth softball fields with bleachers. Staffed in
summer with recreation programs for youth.

LINCOLN PARK
 Located
at the corner of State & Union Streets, 1.70 acres. Area with a
gazebo for weddings and park available for community events.
Shuffleboard court. Electric service throughout the park. Monuments
in the park. Concerts during the summer months.

Gazebo $25 per 2/hr. plus $10 cleanup
Full Park $100 per day plus $50 cleanup

Located at York Street, 1.8 acres. Playground equipment and
backstop. One-half basketball court.

Located at N. 15th and Sullivan Streets. 4.04 acres.
Regulation
softball field completely fenced with 8 ft high outfield fence.
Night lighting with dugouts and bleachers. Concession stand with
restrooms (summer only) and playground area. Parking in outfield and
across the street. Concession stand on bid basis from Memorial Day
thru Labor Day. Press box with games broadcast by local radio
stations. Staffed during summer months with recreation
programs for youth.

at N. 4th & Washington Streets,

acres. 2 tennis courts and playground area. One-half court
basketball area. Staffed during summer months with recreation
programs for youth.

WAR VETERANS PARK
 Located
at 551 East State Street, 10.40 acres. Playground equipment for
handicapped, volleyball court and 3 tennis courts. Picnic area with
grills. Pavilion available for rental with electrical outlets and
kitchens in both ends.

One-half $45.00 plus $10 cleanup
Whole $90.00 plus $20 cleanup
Groups over 500
Security Deposit $200
Separate check from Rental – returned if park cleaned.
Group to take garbage in excess of 6 cans with them. Group has
option of having their own dumpster on location.
Restrooms are open when pool is open – if want longer $15 per hour
charge.
Summer Field Rates
User Fee, $100 per League or $10 per each day of use

Tournament Fee, $50 for a 2 day tournament
