Afternoon Activities at Oak Hill Park
July 6th to August 12th * 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays * Exploring Science
Fun outdoor science projects- making the best wind catchers or miniature turbines, playing hide and seek using compasses & GPS, the sun effects on different substances, elasticity of water balloons, build structures to learn which ones holdup against the largest weights, stomp rocket competition are some of the activities planned.
Monday & Wednesday * Performing Arts
Signing, dancing, karaoke, acting and puppets are some of the activities planned.
Friday * Arts
Painting, water coloring, using natural items found in Oak Hill Park to create visual arts, creative writing, poems, and other creative activities.
In case of rain, activities will be at the Washington Street Theatre.

An intensive program in Performance Arts includes writing, acting, composing, poetry with performance at JCC and Oak Hill Park. Students are expected to attend the program regularly. Performance and displays will be presented at JCC Cutco Theater, Oak Hill Park, and The Theatre Workshop. high school seniors can earn college credit through JCC.
