The Park Place @ Lincoln Square to Open

June 9, 2021—Olean— William J. Aiello, Mayor of the City of Olean, is pleased to announce that the soft opening of The Park Place @ Lincoln Square is scheduled for July 6, 2021. The facility, constructed with the original Farmers’ Market Project in 2019, was scheduled to open last year, but COVID-19 restrictions put a hold on the completion of the building.

“The opening of The Park Place @ Lincoln Square is great news for Olean. Lincoln Park is quickly becoming an Olean attraction. The open air building is used weekly by the R.E.A.P. Farmers’ Market and biweekly by the Foothills Crafter’s Market on Saturdays and Sundays, respectively. The building provides shelter, if necessary, during the Concerts in the Park and has been a meeting place for many groups, who prefer not to meet inside during the pandemic,” said Mayor Aiello.

“This new facility in the park will be another draw. The Park Place @ Lincoln Square offers restaurateurs and caterers a facility to manage events or open a pop-up restaurant in the park,” Mayor Aiello added. “Equipped with electric burners, a sink, a commercial grade refrigerator, and twelve café style tables and chairs, the site is ready to host special occasions.

The Park Place @ Lincoln Square is a “carry-in carry-out” facility. All waste, including raw garbage must be disposed of off-site. Health department regulations require renter(s) to provide disposable utensils, cups and napkins. Bio-friendly disposable products are preferred. Caterers can rent the building from Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. In addition, renters will be allowed to use the building at 10:00 a.m. for set-up and until 11:00 p.m. for cleaning if necessary. All renters are required to clean the building after each use.

To rent the facility, please contact Terri Belli, Office Manager, at 716-376-5666. The rental fee is $100.
