Park Place @ Lincoln Square in Olean, New York

June 10, 2021—Olean— William J. Aiello, Mayor of the City of Olean, is pleased to announce that the soft opening of Park Place @ Lincoln Square is scheduled for July 6, 2021. The facility, constructed with the original Farmers’ Market Project in 2019, was scheduled to open last year, but COVID-19 restrictions put a hold on the completion of the building.

“The opening of Park Place at Lincoln Square is great news for Olean”, said Mayor Aiello. “Lincoln Park is quickly becoming an Olean attraction. The open-air building is used weekly by the R.E.A.P. Farmers’ Market and biweekly by the Foothills Crafter’s Market on Saturdays and Sundays, respectively. The building provides shelter, if necessary, during the Concerts in the Park and has been a meeting place for many groups, who prefer not to meet inside during the pandemic.”

“This new facility in the park will be another draw. Park Place at Lincoln Square offers restaurateurs and caterers a facility to manage events or open a pop-up restaurant in the park,” Mayor Aiello added. “Equipped with food warmers, a sink, a commercial grade refrigerator, and café style table and chairs, the site is ready to host special occasions.”

SolEpoxy, Inc., of Olean, purchased these new facilities for the people of Olean. SolEpoxy also funded design development and architecture of the Farmers Market beginning in 2015. These civic assets enable small businesses to reach more customers and they provide a fun destination. SolEpoxy chose Olean for quality-of-life and so they reinvest in quality-of-life assets for this beautiful small city.
